Lindau

To recap the conference, it is not necessary to watch the complete conference again. It can be done faster: with the official multimedia documentation. The team of authors Katharina Kötke, Sarah van Bentum, Gunnar Kötke and Michael Scheyer have rewatched the complete conference program and filtered out the most important moments and key messages of the participants.

Now everyone can review the conference, or parts of it, without having to sacrifice whole days for it. You can listen to the individual video messages or watch the two press talks – with Grandmother Rankin-Tardif and Grandfather Rankin or with Reverend Clement Joseph. The full World Council statement is included, as is the poem recited by the poet Christine Frischmuth at the Ring for Peace ceremony.

_You find the documentation by following this link.

There are nine chapters for you to explore: In the centre the Meeting and the Statement of World Council of Religious Leaders, surrounded by the three main topics: Peace and Security, Environment and Humanitarianism and the Diplomacy Round Tables. And then there are the Forewords, the Ring for Peace Ceremony, the Live Studio and the interviews from the Magazine.

Multimedia

As a multimedia documentary, it includes texts, images and videos in equal measure. There is hardly a better way to capture and communicate what happened in Lindau in October 2021. Thanks also go to the great photographer Christian Flemming, who took the many pictures of the conference.

We are of course happy if you help us to share the documentation. It’s easy to do by sharing the link ringforpeace.org/gid

We thank you very much for that. But for now, we hope you enjoy discovering, reading, watching and listening.

These are the speakers and the program of “Generations in Dialogue”

The international conferences of Religions for Peace and Ring for Peace, supported by the German Foreign Office, are establishing themselves: locally in Lindau and programmatically on the highest diplomatic level. The list of speakers who will take part confirms this.

Magazine Issue 2

A new conference brings a new issue of the Ring for Peace Magazine. Soon we will talk to interesting people about the three main topics of the conference: Peace and Security, Environment and Humanitarianism.

There will be interviews and live-talks. And we would also like to know what you think yourself. You can find out how here.

Hybrid conference

The Corona pandemic is not yet over, even though vaccines are now available.

To take into account the still ongoing risk of infection, the conference in Lindau will be hybrid. That means: 150 invited participants will be there in person and all others may participate virtually.

More Information will follow shortly.
