Challenges of an International Conference
The safety of all parties involved has the highest priority in the planning of and during the conference. Due to the pandemic, several hundred delegates from all over the world will participate virtually in the conference, 150 participants will be allowed on site. In addition, there will be another 80 persons present at Inselhalle Lindau – a core steering group and service providers for data and event technology, video and support.
Preventive Measures
A hygiene concept will be drawn up for the conference, setting out measures to ensure it is held safely. The organizer has appointed a hygiene officer.
As far as it is possible, participants need to be either vaccinated or recovered on site; if it is not possible, they need to be tested daily. Proof of this must be brought in all three cases. Vaccinations recognized by the EU and thus also for the conference are Biontech and Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson/Janssen Pharmaceuticals.

Magazine Issue 2
A new conference brings a new issue of the Ring for Peace Magazine. Soon we will talk to interesting people about the three main topics of the conference: Peace and Security, Environment and Humanitarianism.
There will be interviews and live-talks. And we would also like to know what you think yourself. You can find out how here.
Hybrid conference

To take into account the still ongoing risk of infection, the conference in Lindau will be hybrid. That means: 150 invited participants will be there in person and all others may participate virtually.
