Foundation Peace Dialogue
The Foundation Peace Dialogue of the World Religions and Civil Society was founded in 2018 in Lindau, Germany, by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schürer and his wife Monika, St. Gallen.
Wolfgang Schürer is also well known as co-founder of the St. Gallen Symposium and as former chairman of the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings (2000-2015) and vice-chair of its council.
The Foundationʼs aim is to foster the peaceful coexistence between people and religions within Germany and Europe, to strengthen international understanding and cooperation and to promote the dialogue between the generations and nations.

Our Mission
Our declared goal is the peaceful coexistence of the world religions in civil society. Thus we are committed to peace dialogue and mutual understanding.
We work with renowned partners from civil society and academia, government and interfaith dialogue in order to jointly develop and realize effective and sustainable event and educational formats as well as research projects, which fulfill our objective of promoting peace dialogue.
